Your support inbox, on your iPhone.
Reply to customers between meetings. Edit the AI draft and hit send, then clear the rest of the queue with a swipe. It is the same inbox as the web app, signed in to the same account.
Free on the App Store as "Support Inbox - AcornReply". Requires iOS 17.4 or later.

What you can do from your phone
What the app does today, for the day-to-day work of answering customers.
Reply with the AI draft
Edit the draft, send it as written, or ask for a new one. Either way you read it before your customer does.
Swipe to snooze or resolve
Swipe right to snooze until later today, tomorrow or next week. Swipe left to resolve. Swipe a snoozed or resolved row to reopen it.
Notes and @mentions
Leave an internal note on a conversation and @mention a teammate. Your mentions collect under the bell, so you can see who needs you.
Assign and tidy up
Assign a conversation, mark it as spam, archive it or delete it. Filter the inbox by status, show only what is assigned to you, or search.
Live chat, too
Chats from the widget on your site land in the same inbox as email, and you answer them from the app the same way.
Photos and files
Attach a photo from the camera, a screenshot from Photos, or a file from Files to a reply.
Start a new message
Write to a customer first, not only back to one. Compose a new message from the inbox.
Sign up in the app
New to AcornReply? Create an account in the app with an email code, Google or Apple. Then set up your workspace, pick a voice for the drafts and get its inbound address.
Notifications for the messages that need you
Allow notifications once, and the app turns them on for every workspace you belong to. You can turn a workspace off later in the app, under Notifications.
A new customer message goes to the person the conversation is assigned to. If nobody is assigned, everyone in the workspace with notifications on gets it. Conversations the AI answers on its own do not ping anyone.
You also get one when a snoozed conversation assigned to you wakes up, and when a teammate @mentions you. Tap it and the conversation opens. The app icon badge shows how many conversations are open in the workspaces you get notifications for.
Going away? Mark yourself away, or add your vacation dates, from Availability in the app.
Limits, stated up front
Plain about the edges, so nobody finds them after installing.
iPhone only
There is no iPad layout and no Android app yet. On Android and on a computer, use the web app: it installs from Chrome and gets web push.
Setup happens on the web
Billing and plans, analytics, managing the knowledge base and help center, and channel setup (email forwarding, the contact form and the chat widget) are on the web app. So are members and invites, API keys and branding.
iOS 17.4 or later
The app needs iOS 17.4 or later. Dark mode follows your iPhone's setting.
Not in the EU yet
The app is in about 20 App Store storefronts, including the US, the UK and Australia. It is not in EU App Stores yet. Where it is not listed, use the web app in Safari.
Questions people ask
Is there an AcornReply app for iPhone?
Yes. "Support Inbox - AcornReply" is free on the App Store and needs iOS 17.4 or later. It is the same inbox as the web app: sign in with the account you already have, or create one in the app.
Is there an AcornReply app for Android?
Not yet. On Android, open AcornReply in Chrome and install it to your home screen. The web app gets push notifications there.
Does the app work on iPad?
The app is built for iPhone. There is no iPad layout yet, so on an iPad use the web app in Safari.
Will my phone buzz for every message?
No. A new customer message notifies the person the conversation is assigned to, or everyone in the workspace with notifications on when nobody is assigned. Conversations the AI answers on its own do not notify anyone. You also get a notification when a snoozed conversation assigned to you wakes up, and for an @mention.
Can I sign up from the app?
Yes. Create an account with an email code, Google, or Apple, then set up your workspace in the app. Sign in with Apple is only in the iPhone app.
Can I manage billing or the knowledge base from the app?
No. Plans and billing, analytics, managing the knowledge base and channel setup are on the web app. The iPhone app is for answering customers.
Is the app available in my country?
It is in about 20 App Store storefronts, including the US, the UK and Australia. It is not in EU App Stores yet. Everywhere else, use the web app in your browser.
